Therapy and Services
I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Schema Therapy.
The types of techniques that I use depend on the nature of your difficulties and your therapeutic goals. Following an initial assessment, goals will be set and agreed upon and these will be regularly reviewed during treatment. An empathic, non-judgmental and compassionate relationship will provide a safe environment where you can explore and understand whatever you might be experiencing. I will work collaboratively with you and you will learn strategies and acquire tools and techniques to help manage your difficulties and improve your mood.
I work with stress, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, anger management, loss and grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, childhood trauma, low self-esteem, sexuality, long term health conditions.
